A few minutes from the Dubai International Financial Centre and World Trade Center, Dubai is expected to brave primarily a business hotel. This is in the structure, which is pretty easy, but expensive-looking reflection. Do not be put through the lobby, which is an odd combo of Majlis seats are mismatched chairs, glass and steel data.
The rooms are large with bath Miller Harris and a surround sound system that pumps music into the bathroom. The rooms aredecorated in dark, neutral male with high, padded headboards, and all have a sitting area and desk. Not everyone has a balcony, but this is probably a good thing, because most are only looking at the Sheikh Zayed Road or the maze of old low-rise buildings behind him.
Dining Pool Table Combo
For a hotel that was not obviously a lot of business in flourishes of the designer recently opened nearby, it is actually quite good in front of the elegant food and drink. The year 2009 saw the opening ofthe first Cavalli Club - the king of bling cavernous and wild night life is expensive (think of black marble, faux fur, Swarovski-draped ceilings and gold leaf sushi). The crowd here is predictable overdressed and underweight, and come to watch the closing time of 2:00, have all served to head down to the basement club in Fairmont, 400, where you can dance on the tables and order super-sized bottles of premium vodka velvet cushions with streamers.
Spectrum on One is less striking, aRestaurant International, which manages the impossible by removing any kitchen brilliant - Friday brunch is especially popular. There is also the much-garlanded Exchange Grill and frankly weird Japanese joint called Kitsune, who thrilled guests with his Clockwork Orange-meets-Narnia decorum and dry ice instead of cooking. Cin-Cin Wine Bar is a nice but a little 'pick-up of a joint and cripplingly expensive. There is also a common sandwich and a conveyor belt sushi bar.
The poolis small enough, overlooking Sheikh Zayed Road, so really more for the types of business alone, but the Willow Stream Spa, a faux Roman is large and well equipped (particularly hot on the packaging of half or full day).
